Shipping & Delivery
88SIM ships directly from our manufacturing partners in Asia to your door. That means factory-direct pricing and proper packaging for heavy racing hardware — and it means longer transit than domestic retail. Here is the straight answer on timing, costs, and tracking.
How the timeline works
Every order passes through four stages:
Order received (day 0)
You place the order, payment is authorized, and a confirmation lands in your inbox. If you ordered a configurable rig, this is the point at which we lock the build.
Processing and quality check (days 1–3)
We assemble, inspect, and pack the order. Wheelbases and pedals are individually tested before they leave the warehouse.
International transit (days 3–20)
Your order travels via air freight with a partnered express carrier. This is where most of the wait happens. You receive a tracking number as soon as it moves.
Local delivery (last 1–5 days)
The shipment hands off to a local courier (USPS, DPD, DHL, La Poste, Hermes, etc., depending on country) for the final leg to your address.
Shipping rates
Rates depend on weight, volume, and destination. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay — no surprise charges. We ship to the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, and most of North America. If your country is not listed at checkout, email us and we will check whether we can route it.
Taxes, VAT, and customs
For EU orders under €150 we ship under the IOSS scheme, so VAT is collected at checkout and no customs fees are charged on delivery. For EU orders over €150 and non-EU destinations, local VAT, duties, and handling fees may apply at import and are the buyer's responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout. US orders are charged sales tax where required; duties under the current de minimis threshold are not charged.
Tracking your order
As soon as the carrier scans your parcel, we email the tracking link and show it in your account under Orders. The tracking updates in near real time from handoff to delivery. If the tracking does not update for more than 5 business days during transit, email us — we will chase it.
Delays and missed windows
The 14–28 day window covers roughly 95% of orders. A small share run longer because of customs holds, carrier backlogs, or address issues. If your order passes day 35 with no delivery, contact support — we will open an investigation with the carrier and, if the parcel is lost, reship or refund.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can edit an address before processing begins (within the first few hours), but once a parcel is handed to the carrier, changes depend on the carrier's policy and are not guaranteed. Orders returned to sender because of an incorrect address may incur a reship fee.
