Returns & Refunds

We want you to keep and enjoy what you ordered. When that is not possible, our returns policy is designed around the reality of international shipping: shipping a heavy wheelbase back across continents rarely makes sense, so we default to solutions that are faster and fairer for you than a conventional send-back.

EU and UK — 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. To exercise it, email returns@88simrig.shop with your order number and a short statement of withdrawal. We will confirm receipt and agree on the most practical way to complete the return.

Under Art. 14 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the cost of returning bulky goods is typically borne by the consumer. In practice, return shipping from the EU to our fulfillment region is often disproportionate to the product's value — so we will usually offer one of the options below instead.

How we handle returns in practice

After you contact us we assess the situation and propose one of these outcomes. You choose.

  • Partial refund, keep the item. Common for minor cosmetic issues, wrong color, or cases where return shipping would exceed the difference. We credit a portion of the order back to the original payment method and you keep the product.
  • Full replacement. For defects, missing parts, or items damaged in transit, we ship a replacement or the missing part from the nearest stocking point — no return needed in most cases.
  • Local return and full refund. Where we have a local return address available, we arrange collection or send a prepaid label and refund in full on receipt.
  • International return and refund. If you prefer to ship the item back internationally, you may do so at your own cost and we refund the product price in full once it arrives and passes inspection. We will tell you up front whether this is realistic for your order.

Defective or damaged on arrival

Inspect your order within 48 hours of delivery. If anything is broken, missing, or not working, send us photos and a short video of the issue along with the order number. We will replace or refund — you do not need to return the defective item unless we specifically request it. This is separate from and in addition to your statutory rights and the 24-month warranty.

24-month warranty

All 88SIM products are covered for 24 months against manufacturing defects. Warranty work is handled by replacement parts shipped to you, with guidance from support; you do not ship the full rig back. Normal wear, accidental damage, and modifications are not covered.

Condition and exclusions

For standard returns (not defects), items should be unused, in original packaging, and with all accessories included. We cannot accept returns of products that have been visibly used, modified, or damaged after delivery, custom-configured builds beyond the cooling-off period, or clearance items marked final sale.

How long refunds take

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of approval. Your bank or card network may take another 3–10 days to show the credit. For PayPal, refunds usually appear within 1–2 business days.
